First Ahrens-Fox purchased by CFD; had large "45" numerals on hood below CFD; Engine 45 end date may have been 11/11/1921; on loan to Louisville, KY from 1/30/1937 - 2/9/1937; on Special Duty assignment as a WWII Ready Reserve engine at Engine 52 during 1941 & 1942; this rig moved to the Chrysler aircraft plant from 11/27/1942 - 6/8/1943; final WWII assignment was at Engine 123 from 6/8/1943 - 10/22/1943; wrecked on 11/25/1953 and totaled
