Apparatus Notes

Demo rig, possibly not purchased until May 1967; some shop records indicate 100 gallon tank and 175 gpm pump; Booster 1 located at Engine 59‘s house; remained marked as Booster 1 while used as second piece for SS3; replaced Engine Co. 21 as 6-3-4; Engine 21 placed permanently OOS 10/17/1967, the first day for 6-3-4 at Meigs Field; may have been used by Chemical 4 (6-3-4) intermittently from 1/8/1968 - 11/1973; shop records indicate this rig was assigned to Battalion 18 until 10/30/1968, though it seems to be on paper only as a spare A- car had been assigned in place by 9/17/1968; stored at Shops as of June 1983
