Engine Co. 109 end date may have been 2/4/1986; received Quick Water modifications in 1983; shops added a front hose tray in 1985 - this was a simpler design than others; remained marked as Engine 109 while a spare; rebuilt in 1987 by Able Fire Equipment (cab rebuild for Quick Water modfications and new E-One body); destroyed in rollover accident at 63rd & Wood on 9/28/1992
