CFD G-series

The G-series is the CFD's catch-all class of numbering for special apparatus. The first nine numbers were reserved for current and future fireboat purchases, though G-8 and G-9 have never been used and subsequent fireboats have used chronological G- numbering. Passenger car-based and early modular ambulances used the G-series until 1979, when they were moved to the moribund C-series.
