Only Cadillac ambulace to be modified for use as a telemetry equipped Advanced Life Support unit with paramedic staffing; in service with paramedics on 7/22/1974; internal memo notes this was marked and awaiting state certification as a telemetry unit as of 8/1/1976; Ambulance 28 functioned as BLS transport unit so Ambulances 16 & 26 could remain at O'Hare, and also as a spare when either of those ambulances needed service; Little & McNalis show Ambulance 28 disbanded on 4/17/1981; last Cadillac ambulance in service
